Inspiration// My Boyfriend is turning 30 on Monday and I’m really excited to celebrate this birthday with him. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating his 20th birthday. Since then, we have both grown-up and watched the world change around us. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next 1o years. Happy 30th Aaron!

Inspiration // On Saturday I celebrated my ( __th) birthday, but it was also my best friend’s birthday. Every year I go on search of the perfect card… and turn up empty handed on same-day birthday cards. Not only am I lucky enough to share my birthday with my Bryan, I have another good friend Amy who shares this day (I keep good company). Happy birthday Bryan and Amy!

Inspiration // This week’s card was inspired by my recent car issues. I would like to give a special shout out to my friend Kristin, who was the inspiration for the greeting in this week’s card. “You fuel my fire.”

Valentine’s Day to me: I personally love Valentine’s day. I understand when people say it’s a made up holiday or a Hallmark holiday, but look at all of the other non-sense we celebrate — why shouldn’t we have a day when we celebrate those we love? For me, Valentine’s day isn’t necessarily a day where you have to spend it with your significant other, but rather a day when you acknowledge your loved ones. The people that make you laugh, smile and love. Maybe I just fantasize of all the candy valentines I received in elementary school, and a day when everyone you knew participated and enjoyed the day.

Inspiration // Celebrating the new year and enjoying the company of loved ones and friends. And for those who know me, they realize that this is also my life’s mantra.

Inspiration// Every year I search for an idea for a Christmas card that is fun or interesting. This year, both my Christmas and New Year’s cards are a reflection of me. I’m always cold — so cold that I even sit at my computer typing with fingerless gloves on during the winter months. My dad always said, “cold hand, warm heart.” Hence, the source of inspiration for the card design warmth comes from within. Happy Holidays everyone!

While, haven’t taken as many pictures as I probably should have, here is one I snapped a few days ago for a postcard design. Luckily, I have 2 more weeks in this tropical paradise to take more pictures and make more memories.

Inspiration // I recently found out that my friend Heather and her boyfriend, are relocating back to the east coast in a few weeks. I can’t contain my excitement to have her back (not that I didn’t love my visits to LA). Above is a custom moving card for the happy couple.

Inspiration // A few weeks ago I had my first camping experience. I know, it’s hard to believe that at the age of 28, I’ve only been camping once. I swore that I was going to be eaten by a bear, but alas, I’ve made it to live another day. I guess that’s just good luck!

Inspiration // In February a friend of mine started on a great adventure to New Zealand to learn how to shear a sheep. While she has been out exploring all that New Zealand has to offer; that doesn’t mean her friends at home don’t miss her.

Inspiration // A friend of mine got engaged this week, and I have known that her new fiance was going to go down on one knee for about two months now. I’m happy it’s a secret no more! Congrats, Lara!

Inspiration // This summer I have been trying to enjoy a little fun in the sun at the beach. And quite literally there are plenty of fish in the sea, however, among the sea of fist pumping and sun tan oil, I’ve never felt luckier to have caught my fish.
